2015 D4TS Tourette Syndrome Scholarship Recipients
The 2015 Dollars 4 Tic Scholars Tourette Syndrome Scholarship Sponsored by the Brad Cohen Tourette Foundation – $1000
Awarded to Jordan Matthew Bernstein, Boca Raton, Florida
Jordan is a graduate of Spanish River High School. He will be attending the University of Florida as a freshman beginning this summer. His major will be Mathematics with a minor in Physics and Chemistry. Jordan was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at age 6. Since seventh grade, he has served as a National Youth Ambassador for the Tourette Syndrome Association of America.

Awarded to Jensen Max Kaplan, Wellington, Florida
Jensen graduated from Suncoast High School, Riviera Beach, FL. He will be attending the University of Florida as a freshman this fall. His major will be Astrophysics with the goal of earning his Ph.D. Jensen was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at age 7.

Awarded to Bethany Anastashia Spencer, Inman, South Carolina
Bethany graduated from South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics in Hartsville, SC. She will attend Clemson University in the fall as a freshman, and will be majoring in Biomedical Engineering. She plans on conducting research on brain mapping to more efficiently plant electrodes in Deep Brain Stimulation surgery. Bethany was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at age 17.
